Dear Clients of Cohen BarberShop,

​In response to ongoing developments on the topic of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that the health and well-being of you, your families, and our staff, remain our highest priority.

We are stepping up our hygiene practices in the following ways:

1. All tools used by barbers are cleaned and disinfected after EACH use AS ALWAYS.
2. We are significantly increasing our cleaning frequency of the space and high-touch items, including doorknobs, barbers’ chairs, restroom, phones and tabletops.
3. Alcohol wipes & tissue paper - available for our Clients

We will continue to monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and New York City Department of Health (DOH) and will follow their guidelines and provide any necessary updates to help keep Cohen BarberShop clean and safe.

As a reminder, the DOH recommends that all New Yorkers practice general flu prevention measures including:

1. Wash your hands regularly – keep in mind the 20 second rule.
2. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or sleeve. Then throw the tissue in the trash.
3. Avoid touching your face.
4. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
5. Most importantly, stay home if you’re feeling sick. Call your doctor and let them know your symptoms and travel history.
